The most memorable or exciting part of your holiday was being in the beautiful, lush and varied Kerala countryside with an experienced and super friendly local guide Alphin, who was able to give us so much local knowledge. Alphin was very personable, knowledgeable and attentive and made the holiday so enjoyable and easy. Also e-bikes were a fantastic way to cover a lot of ground and be close to nature, and were perfect in the heat.
 

BIG thank you for the tour. Vipin, Rahul, Krishnakumar and Jayan were brilliant. The bicycles were good with low gears and hydraulic brakes. The hotels were great, better than expected. Food was lovely and plenty of opportunities for spicy/hot dishes ????. Impressed with Kerala - the wonderful scenery, friendliness, high literacy rate, different religions peacefully existing side-by-side, so many different birds (think we came across over 50!), and interesting excursions 

Personally this was my third time using Kalypso,Adventures but it was Oksana's first experience of India and a "different" activity holiday and once again you and the team delivered fantastic and first class experience and vacation

I'm especially grateful that in spite of my late booking you were able secure very nice accommodation over the three weeks standouts were Old Court House, Siena Village, Lake Canopy, Lake Song, Kurialacherry House & Flamingo, Marari, great accommodation, food and service at all of these choices.

A special mention for our guide Vineeth was exceptional in adapting the schedule to address our physical limitations and practical wishes . Vineet always delivered upon any request from the moment we landed in Kochi to the time we sadly had to say goodbye.

We completed the 8 day cycling and hiking tour through the Western Ghats in Kerala. It was absolutely fantastic with the most incredible sights and experiences. The accommodation at the end of the day was comfortable and luxurious.

Thank you very much for your care in organising our trip. It has all gone very well so far. I have to say that Joji has been incredible. He has made sure the days have run smoothly and has ensured that we have had excellent food and even snacks in the car but most of all he is, as one of the PTS guides said, 'the master of bird discovery and identification’.

He went to great lengths to seek out more and more unusual birds and had the patience to help us see a bird that was obvious to him but to us was hidden in a bush until he managed to reveal it to us. His driving should also be mentioned. He navigates the busy mountain roads with care and efficiency - I am not surprised that he has driven lorries and buses before. I have said to him that he appears to have superhuman eyesight and hearing - he heard the call of rufous babblers as we were driving through tea plantations near to Kattappana earlier today! 

We loved the days we spent in the Western Ghats. It was an education as well as an indulgence for us. We loved the varied landscape and seeing and hearing the sounds of the many birds and animals. There were many 'First times" for us and our enjoyment was enhanced by our guide and our driver as well as well as the many other people with whom we came into contact. It was a fabulous holiday and one we shall not forget. On departure our cases contained many different spices and coffee to remind us of our holiday in Kerala.
