I simply loved Kerala. It was amazing to be hiking in a country of 3.2 billion people and to have the open spaces and forests to ourselves.
To see elephants in the wild was an absolute highlight, but it was much more than that. The people, their culture and their history was facinating.
Satheesh and Georgie were fabulous. They saw to our every need and were happy to answer all our questions. It was refreshing to see 2 people loving what they do, it showed in so many ways. They are both passionate about what they do and we felt very safe and well cared for.

Our party of 12 just completed a cycle ride across Southern India. It has been a huge sucess for everybody. This is a party of occasional cyclists, average age over 60. The Guides were awesome; so diligent and competent, and cool, of course.
Logistics (vehicles, bike maintenance and baggage translocation) were immaculately executed. Just superb. Thanks, Kalypso.

Thank you Kalypso for a wonderful birding trip. A particular mention to our wonderful driver Das and our bird guide Peter Augustin. Both were great travel companions and went over and above what was expected of them. They really made the trip special. Most of the accommodations were first rate and we experienced a wonderful diversity of the bird life of Southern India.

For me and my three teenage children, this was the trip of a lifetime. Seeing the elephants and monkeys in the forests in Periyar was the most exciting part of the holiday, though almost everything else was very memorable too - the spice farm visit, the kayaking; learning about local culture, history, nature and food from our guide. Our guide and driver were very skilled and knowledgeable and they accomodated any requests we had by making small adaptations to the schedule to make things even more enjoyable. By the types of accomation we stayed in and the types of guided trips we went on, I do believe that our holiday has reduced environmental impact, benefited local people and supported conservation.

 My wife and I booked Kalypso's "Vegan Holiday in Kerala" and it was amazing! The company was very accomodating of our timeline (and our poor organisation in terms of the booking process) - they were able to adjust and arrange the tour as needed.Our guide Jeffin and driver Vivek were both incredibly friendly, professional and knowledgeable and arranged and incredible sightseeing and cycling experience. Would absolutely book with Kalypso again!
