Day 1: Thattekkad
Our team will receive you at the airport . After loading you luggage, you will be transferred to Thattekkad, situated on the banks of the Periyar River. You drive through the spice gardens, that have made Kerala famous all over the globe, will take you to the luxurious tents of the Hornbill Camp on the riverside. This jungle camp is the perfect setting for a relaxed evening, with the sounds of the forest creating the perfect background score.   Hornbill camp is located on the banks of Periyar . It has cottage tents with attached toilets, a gazebo with indoor games, books etc.   Activities: Nature walks / Short treks Local cycling Kayaking    
Day 2-3: Suryanelli
As you leave the Hornbill Camp behind the next morning and drive along the banks of the river Periyar, you will pass through forests, rubber estates and a countryside abounding in spice and pineapple plantations, till you reach the foothills of the Western Ghats at Adimali. Suryanelli, near Munnar is well-known for its trekking routes and a refreshing trek is on offer, or you could walk through the wonderfully laid out tea gardens - a serene experience on country roads. The sceneries are awe inspiring and the ride away from the tourist trails is truly spectacular. The terrain is undulating but the scenic beauty of the manicured tea gardens is bound to mesmerize you. Camps in Suryanelli are located facing the Mathikettan Shola National Park. You will be staying in dome tents. There are common toilets nearby the tents. Activities: Mathikettan Shola Trek 
Day 4: Kulamavu
A calm and scenic palce in Idukki district, Kulamavu is famous for the serinity, dam and the trekking. The view is magnificent and you will have spice plantations on either side. You get to see the famous arch dam of Idukki on the way and cross the beautiful Kulamavu dam just before you reach your destination for the night, Green berg resort. You will be staying in spacious rooms. Since the resort is on a hilltop, you get beautiful views of the nearby places.  Activities: Trekking  Activities at the resort 
Day 5: Kochi
Kochi, being centrally located is considered as the gateway to all travelers who visit Kerala. Its also called as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Kochi has a cosmopolitian culture and has tradition of Chinese, Arabs, Jews, Portuguese, Dutch and British.   Activities: Kadamakkudy kayaking Kumabalangi Cycling Fort Kochi cycling

Q. Do you follow covid protocols?
We sanitise all equipments and touch points regularly. Our staffs who are doing tours with the guests also undergoes checkup frequently for any symptoms.
 
Q. Are the activities safe for kids?
Yes all activities are safe for children, provided they follow instructions from our guides.
 
Q. Do I have a naturalist guide for this tour?
A successful walking and wildlife tour is largely dependant on a good naturalist who is familiar with the local conditions, best chances of sightings and thorough domain knowledge. We provide such qualified outdoor naturalist guides along with local trackers. The naturalist can also be the driver of the SUV or can be a separate person. In both cases, expertise and experience would be prime criteria.
Q. Do the guides speak English?
Yes, they are very proficient in English.
Q. What are the health risks ?
There are very minimal health risks if you follow our guides instructions on drinking only certified bottled water and food from safe sources identified by us and not wandering off the trails..
Q. Is First Aid available?
Yes, the naturalist guide / driver carries a comprehensive First Aid bag. For those suffering from allergies or require any special medication will need to bring those along. All our outdoor staff have undergone St John’s Ambulance First Aid Training course and are qualified. In case of serious injuries or emergencies, we have identified hospitals nearest to the tour routes to safely evacuate you to the nearest hospital.

Q. What about Wildlife encounters.
They are likely to be wild animal encounters but our naturalist guides and trackers are trained and experienced enough to keep you out of harm’s way.
Q. Are banking services easily available in areas visited?
Yes. Banking services and numerous ATMs available throughout Kerala.
Q. Can I use my credit Card during this trip?

Yes, all the resorts & most shops in locations mentioned in this itinerary accept credit cards
