- Day 3: Bandipur Tiger Reserve
- Today you will be transferred to Bandipur. A wildlife lodge managed by the forest department & a wildlife travel company to manage tourism in the protected forests in the best traditions of involving local population in tourism activity and hence helping them earn their livelihood through tourism. The terrain is varied with hills, valleys, ravines, watercourses and swamps, moist deciduous forests, dry deciduous forests and scrub forests. The National Park is located at the tri-junction of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka on the North Eastern Slopes of the Nilgiris part of Western Ghats descending to the Mysore Plateau. The Bandipur Tiger Reserve (Karnataka) in the north, Mudumalai (Tamilnadu) and Waynad Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) in the West the region forms a single, continuous viable habitat for a varied range of wildlife and is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Vast herds of Asiatic elephants, Gaurs (Indian Bison), Sambar deer roam this Tiger Reserve. Tigers are largely elusive but leopards or packs of Dholes (wild dogs) and sloth bears are frequently seen during the jeep safaris.
- Day 4: Ooty - Coimbatore
