During the day, it is usually quite warm with a temperature of about 32 Degrees Celsius, but its gets cold in the night. The temperature may drop to 12 Degrees Celsius (in the hills). There are chances of rain showers in the evenings.
Comfortable and light clothes such as loose pants, shorts with t-shirts etc are advisable. A sweater and a windcheater are necessary. Comfortable shoes are a must. Tennis shoes or any other sort of close toed shoes which have good traction is also fine. No sandals or dress shoes or heels.

For our camp at Suryanelli (Munnar), the Harrisons Malayalam Hospital is at 15 minutes drive. For other locations, we ascertain the information of nearest hospitals.

Kalypso Adventures is a 19 year old travel company specialized in adventure activities and nature tours. Kalypso Adventures was conceptualized by two Naval Commanders, Cdr. Thomas, a nature lover and Cdr. Samuel, an adventure enthusiast. Our team includes mountaineers with advance certifications, wilderness first responders and outdoor experts. We are specialized in handling highly complex tasks including organizing camping across the country, leading large cycling groups and (taking groups for) in conducting trekking expeditions.
Our student camp programmes provides a great exposure for the young generation to the outdoors. The programs are designed for children to experience nature and outdoor sports with the safe supervision of experienced outdoor instructors. We have a 1: 5, staff to student ratio and each activity would be conducted by experts in the particular fields.
